About me
Natasha Buffo is a former business analyst for Google, Inc. turned outdoor adventurer, community mental health facilitator, and creative non-fiction writer and editor. She’s been a Certified Adult Mental Health First Aider (MHFA) for a decade. Since becoming an MFHA Instructor in 2021, she’s taught 60 classes and certified 600 participants, from guides of Adventures in Good Company to volunteers for The Mountaineers to supervisors for Kirkwood Mountain Resort, and many more. Her written work has been published by Recreation.gov, ArborTIMES, CleverHiker, The Link, and soon, by The Dirtbag Diaries. When not teaching or writing, you'll find her exploring the Sierra Nevada Mountains of California with her baby and puppy or traveling near and far to spend time with dear friends.
