Kennedy serves as the National Program Manager for Internships at the Student Conservation Association (SCA), where he leads strategic efforts to cultivate the next generation of environmental stewards through federal workforce development initiatives. With over a decade of experience in the non-profit sector, Kennedy specializes in program management, talent acquisition, and AmeriCorps service within conservation and public land management spaces. In this role, Kennedy works closely with key federal partners, including the National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service, to design and implement internship programs that address critical workforce needs while expanding career access for young adults.
