About me
Jenny Fiebig, MS, NCC, LCPC/LPC, is a licensed professional counselor, IFS Lead Trainer, outdoor educator, and lifelong mountain athlete whose work sits at the intersection of trauma healing and outdoor culture. She specializes in supporting outdoor professionals, first responders, and survivors of outdoor trauma, including ski patrollers, search and rescue volunteers, guides, avalanche professionals, and others whose identities and livelihoods are deeply connected to wild places. Jenny integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), nervous system awareness, somatic approaches, and the restorative power of the outdoors to help people understand the lasting impact of accidents, loss, cumulative stress, and traumatic experiences in the mountains and on rivers. She serves on the Board of Directors for SOAR (Survivors of Outdoor Adventures and Recovery), where she helps facilitate peer support groups and expand trauma-informed resources for individuals and families affected by outdoor trauma. Drawing from both clinical expertise and lived experience, Jenny is especially interested in how people reconnect with themselves, their communities, and the landscapes they love after trauma.
