About me
John Harnetiaux: John is the Dean of Students at Catlin Gabel School in Portland, OR, and is a NOLS field instructor. He was also the Operations Manager for NOLS Pacific Northwest, director of outdoor programs at Eastern Washington University, and director of outdoor and global education programs at Catlin Gabel prior to becoming a dean. He remains involved in Catlin’s experiential programs, and co-leads the school’s Positive Masculinity club. He is also a trained restorative justice facilitator.
